CONFIRMED: Kent Hughes is Working Hard to Trade One Specific Player

With exactly four weeks to go until the trade deadline, there's still one player on the Montreal Canadiens who is likely to pack his bags, and that's goaltender Jake Allen.
According to what has just been revealed by the renowned insider Frank Seravalli, Kent Hughes has started making calls again, following the Sean Monahan trade, to shop his veteran goaltender.
He even ranks Allen 7th on his list of players most likely to leave by March 8th.
Does this mean that number 34 will definitely be traded in the coming days? Not necessarily.
Kent Hughes has set his price for him and is patiently waiting for someone to make him an offer to let him go. However, this stubbornness could force the CH to keep the three-goalie situation.
If I were to speculate on the situation with Allen, I believe that the Canadiens' GM does not want to retain salary on the last year of the goaltender's contract.
Unfortunately, at this time, all the teams that could be interested in Allen's services are those with no cap space to maneuver.
That's probably where the arm wrestling match needs to be played out right now.
