Since the beginning of the season, the goalie situation has been a major topic of discussion for the Montreal Canadiens. Although most observers expected a resolution to be announced quickly, the three-goalie situation persists with the Canadiens, undoubtedly complicating the task for head coach Martin St-Louis.

Moreover, many fans were hoping to see 33-year-old veteran Jake Allen traded by the trade deadline, as he had not been performing well for several weeks.

However, Jake Allen's recent performances are encouraging, and he seems to have regained the confidence of his coach. Indeed, he will start against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, playing his third game in the last seven for the CH.
