Firstly, Nicolas Guay, a Quebecois, will continue his career in Slovakia. He seemed to be on a good development trajectory and was becoming a promising prospect for the Laval Rocket, but he is departing suddenly.
Colin White, like Tanner Pearson, will not return to the Montreal Canadiens for the 2024-2025 season. Kent Hughes had confidence in him, but it simply didn't work out in Montreal.
