A new NHL franchise will call Salt Lake City home next season. The Coyotes have left Arizona to become the new franchise in Utah.

The new club has yet to unveil the name and colors of the team. However, it is quickly beginning to fill its pool of prospects and young players.
The Utah-based organization has just signed its very first player in its short history.

Drafted by the Coyotes in 2023, Noel Nordh has agreed to his first entry-level contract in the NHL. He is a young forward hailing from Sweden with the potential to make his mark in the world's premier league.
At the very least, he is making history as the first player signed by the NHL's new franchise.
Utah must quickly prepare for the draft. Although they have a foundation in place with the former Coyotes, there is still much work to be done behind the scenes in anticipation of their inaugural season.
