The assistant coach of the Tricolore has been chosen to participate in the prestigious Dek Hockey World Cup in Quebec at Mont-Tremblant, from June 5th to 8th.
Alex Burrows will proudly represent Team Québec in the category reserved for competitors aged 35 and over.
If you didn't know, Burrows is an excellent Dek Hockey player and is considered one of the best players in the world by many observers.
Despite his successful NHL career, the former Canucks player has always played Dek Hockey during the summer seasons.
He is also the president of the National Ball Hockey League in Quebec and has lent his name to Dek tournaments called "The Burrows Cup."
Alex Burrows has not yet been confirmed in his role as assistant coach to Martin St-Louis for the upcoming season. Rumors have recently suggested that Gerard Gallant could be an interesting option for the Canadiens.
The veteran could come to assist Martin St-Louis, but one of the current assistants will likely have to step aside. However, nothing has been finalized yet...
