Disgusting Revelation on the 2024 World Juniors: Several Players are Receiving Threats

Following the very bitter defeat of the Canadian team against the Czech Republic in the quarter-finals, several players from the 2024 edition received a large number of hateful messages and threats on social media.

Despite the defeat being hard to swallow for the fans, this reaction is regrettable and greatly inadmissible. We are talking about young people aged 17 to 19 who already have to deal with an extremely difficult defeat to accept, it makes no sense to attack the young players in this way.

We are also very disappointed with the result, but in no way do we approve of such a shameful reaction from the fans.

The captain of the team and Toronto Maple Leafs prospect, Fraser Minten, was the target of the anger of many people.

These events unfortunately remind us of the wave of hate that David Reinbacher had to deal with this summer, following his selection by the Canadiens. This is where we see how extremely harmful social media can be for an athlete.
