Another Tragic On-Ice Death Shakes the Hockey World

Indeed, we witnessed a simply disastrous scene when Mikhail Yanchishin, who plays in Russia, collapsed on the ice rink. According to numerous sources, the forward unfortunately did not survive, dying as a result of this sad event.

It can be seen in the video circulating on social media that several members of both teams immediately went to the player lying on the ice, quickly understanding the seriousness of what had just happened.

Unfortunately, despite the assistance of medical staff, it already seemed too late. Although the cause of Mikhail Yanchishin's death remains unknown at the moment, some preliminary reports suggest that he might have suffered a cardiac arrest.
