In the last few hours, we have mentioned that significant injuries occurred within the Montreal Canadiens organization, as the promising young player Sean Farrell and captain Gabriel Bourque did not finish the last game.
Well, the verdict has just come in and it's worse than we thought. In the end, no fewer than four regular players from the Laval Rocket will be sidelined for the long term. Ouch!
Here is the injury update:
Medical update: Farrell, Légaré, Bourque, and Keeper
Sean Farrell (upper body) will be out of play for 6 to 8 weeks.
Nathan Légaré (lower body) will be out of play for 7 to 8 weeks.
Gabriel Bourque (upper body) will be out of play indefinitely.
Brady Keeper (lower body) will be out of play for 3 months.
Let's hope this doesn't affect the performance of the farm team too much, as they have been particularly on fire since December.
The team led by Jean-François Houle is making everyone forget its dreadful start to the season, with a record of eight wins and two losses in their last 10 games.
