Kirby Dach's injury was truly crushing. Having finally found his footing and emerging as a possible first-line centre, it all came to an abrupt end.

Now, he has shared an update. He has undergone surgery and is in good spirits.

On Twitter this morning, Dach shared a smiley picture, with a promising caption:
