Another Injury Confirmed for the Canadiens: Arber Xhekaj's Status is Unknown After Leaving Last Night's Game

During last night's game, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced very bad news to fans. Indeed, defenseman Arber Xhekaj suffered an upper body injury after a solid check by Ivan Barbashev. Number 72 had to retreat to the locker room before the end of the second period, never returning to the game afterwards.

"Defenseman Arber Xhekaj will not return to the game tonight (upper body)." - Canadiens de Montréal

It's quite worrying to see a warrior like Arber Xhekaj unable to return to the match. Let's hope his injury is not serious and that he will be able to rejoin Martin St-Louis's lineup Saturday night against the Bruins.
