Extremely unfortunate news has just been confirmed in the NHL, as we learn that forward Nolan Patrick officially announces his retirement from professional hockey.

At just 25 years old, this second overall pick in the 2017 Philadelphia Flyers draft unfortunately had to deal with several serious injuries since his arrival in the league, including multiple concussions.
In 222 games with the Flyers and the Vegas Golden Knights, he accumulated 32 goals and 77 points. He missed the entire 2019-2020 season, as well as the 2022-2023 season.
In addition, he only played 25 games in the 2021-2022 season, and it is this major injury that forced him to give up his career for the sake of his health.
A sad ending for this once very promising prospect.
