After being suspended indefinitely while awaiting their trial, hockey players Dillon Dube, Alex Formenton, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, and Cal Foote have seen their professional careers put on hold.
Today, surprising news has emerged: Michael McLeod, one of the players involved, might resume his professional career.
Despite the lack of a North American team willing to sign him due to the ongoing scandal, Hockey News Hub reports that McLeod is currently negotiating a contract with Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the KHL.
At 26 years old, McLeod, a first-round pick (12th overall) in 2016, recorded 10 goals and 9 assists for 19 points in 45 NHL games last season.
