Frank Seravalli has identified 25 players likely to be traded as the draft and free agency approach, including two Montreal Canadiens members: David Savard and Christian Dvorak.

David Savard, 33, is in the final year of his contract with a cap hit of $3.5 million. Despite his valuable experience in mentoring young defensemen, the Canadiens are considering trading him due to a surplus of right-side defensemen.
Christian Dvorak has failed to establish himself in Montreal, never playing more than 56 games per season since his arrival in 2021. Also in the final year of his contract, Dvorak has a no-trade clause limiting the teams he can be traded to.
The Canadiens might trade him or wait for him to become an unrestricted free agent.
