A signing has just been confirmed within the Montreal Canadiens organization, with the announcement of the acquisition of the 6-foot-3-inch, 216-pound forward, Ben Tupker.

The Trois-Rivières Lions are thus adding a significant winger to their lineup, a valuable asset for the end of the season.
"The Trois-Rivières Lions have announced the signing of forward Benjamin Tupker.

He will bring strong leadership to the team as well as being an excellent 200-foot player known for his intensity, vigor, and speed!" - Trois-Rivières Lions

24-year-old Tupker has played several seasons in the NCAA, notably with Union College over the last two years, as well as with the renowned Cornell University before that.

He just concluded his season with a tally of nine goals and 19 points in 34 games.

It will be interesting to see what he can do with the Lions, who are currently ranked 21st in the league, with a record of 25-26-4-3.
