The Montreal Canadiens have drafted well in recent years and will need to make room for young players pushing for a regular spot in the NHL.

Some current Canadiens forwards, even under contract, may leave, be bought out, traded, or released.
According to information from the relevant BPM Sports columnist David Ettedgui, it would officially be the end for two players on the team's offensive roster.
Center Christian Dvorak and winger Jesse Ylonen will not be returning to the Canadiens.
"Christian Dvorak won't be here at training camp. I would use him to free up salary cap space and trade him for a player I want to bring here to Montreal.

So he won't be here anymore. He's no longer in the Canadiens' future plans. We have young center players who will surpass him in the future like Owen Beck, Oliver Kapanen, who will come. Jake Evans is even more valuable than him in the short and medium term.

Jesse Ylonen, it's over. 59 games, 4 goals and 4 assists. I think he missed his chance and we won't see him at training camp." - David Ettedgui

It's something to keep an eye on, but it could provide an interesting opportunity for Canadiens management.
