A rather dubious post was shared on Brendan Gallagher's Instagram account this morning.

In the post, Gallagher boasted about acquiring a brand-new Mercedes, claiming he was able to buy this luxurious car thanks to an investment in cryptocurrency.
The Canadiens forward also referred to himself in the third person, making the situation even more awkward and questionable:
«Congratulations 🎊 on my new car 🚘, all thanks to Coincity, which gave me the opportunity to invest in cryptocurrency 📊. I literally made over $585,000 in profit from a few days of consecutive trading.»

Quite strange... This isn't the first time an athlete's account has been hacked to post product endorsements.
Brendan Gallagher is the latest victim.
