In the past few hours, the Montreal Canadiens organization has agreed to terms on a one-season contract with Anthony Beauchamp, a right winger from Thurso.

He will play for the Trois-Rivières Lions.
Aged 25 and standing 6 feet tall, weighing 205 pounds, Beauchamp is known for his leadership, speed, and dynamism, qualities he has demonstrated with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, and Gatineau Olympiques in the QMJHL.
Since the start of his professional career in the ECHL with Greenville, he has amassed 75 points in 180 games.
His addition enhances the Montreal Canadiens' roster, with high expectations for his participation in training camp in September.
