The Montreal Canadiens have embarked on a rebuilding process since the arrival of Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes. Both seem to be succeeding in their endeavor.

The Habs have heavily invested in drafting over the past few years, and it appears to be paying off. Recently, the Canadiens were ranked fourth among NHL teams with the best prospect pool in the organization.
This ranking was compiled by the specialized platform focusing on young players and prospects, McKeen's Hockey.
The media also put together a top 10 list of the best up-and-coming players for the Canadiens. At the top of the list is David Reinbacher, closely followed by Lane Hutson.
It seems that the Montreal organization is heading in the right direction, and many of these players could have an impact in the NHL. The potential is there, but development will also need to follow its course. Nothing is certain, but the future looks bright.
