Back from vacation, RDS journalist Luc Gélinas appeared on BPM Sports this morning during the Club du Matin show.

Gélinas denied a rumor suggesting that Patrik Laine would have a nanny with the Montreal Canadiens this season.
This rumor was put forward by analyst Pierre McGuire during an episode of the Sick Podcast, suggesting that the measure was intended to help the hockey player maintain a positive mindset and adjust to the Montreal environment.
"I guarantee there will be someone responsible for Patrik Laine." - Pierre McGuire

In the end, it's false, and Luc Gélinas set the record straight this morning, with all due respect to Pierre McGuire.
"I think it's more his perception of things. How he would handle it authoritatively. I made some calls yesterday, and Patrik Laine will not have a dedicated nanny. Firstly, the players' association wouldn't allow it. As for Laine himself, he's 26 years old, and he would say, 'Come on!'" - Luc Gélinas

Later in the segment, Luc Gélinas revealed that only one player had a 24/7 nanny on a voluntary basis. It was former Canadiens player Scott Gomez.
"He was a confirmed bachelor. When the playoffs began, he would kick everyone out of his house. His mother would fly in from Alaska and take over the household, managing everything and ensuring no one entered his place in Old Montreal." - Luc Gélinas
