Renowned Head Coach Compares Lane Hutson to Shocking Player

Lane Hutson may be the Canadiens' best prospect, and he has exceeded all expectations since he was taken 62nd overall.

Now, former Bruins coach and current Boston University coach Jay Pandolfo has compared him to recent Norris winner Adam Fox.

"He is one of a kind and his intelligence and vision for the game is so above average. If I had to choose a player that reminds me of him I would say Adam Fox who I coached against with the Boston Bruins.»

This is a massive comparison, but it is easy to see why it was made. Fox, in his draft year, had major skating troubles - similarly to Hutson.

They were both also undersized, with Fox being 5'11» and 170 pounds in his draft year, and Hutson now being 5'10» and 162 pounds.
