In recent minutes, Martin St-Louis confirmed important information during his press briefing. Indeed, while the Canadiens' head coach indicated that he would like to give more playing time to Cayden Primeau, he stated that the performances of Jake Allen and Samuel Montembeault currently require him to prioritize them.

"Regarding the three-man rotation in net, Martin St-Louis says they'd like to give more playing time to Cayden Primeau. But the strong performances from Allen and Montembeault make them the go-to choices." - Patrick Friolet

He also added that Quebec native Samuel Montembeault will be in net for the Canadiens in the matchup against the St. Louis Blues tomorrow night. The 27-year-old goaltender will therefore play his fifth game this season, as he's still in a tight battle with veteran Jake Allen for the number one spot.
Here are the statistics of the three Canadiens goalies since the start of the season:
- Jake Allen: Record of 3-1-1 / Goals against average of 2.72 / Save percentage of 0.927

- Samuel Montembeault: Record of 2-1-1 / Goals against average of 2.91 / Save percentage of 0.905

- Cayden Primeau: Record of 0-1-0 / Goals against average of 4.15 / Save percentage of 0.879

Do you think a particular goalie deserves the number one spot, or should Martin St-Louis continue to rotate among his three netminders?
