In the last few hours, the Montreal Canadiens made a somewhat surprising announcement regarding star forward Cole Caufield.

Despite having scored only three goals in 14 games, being held scoreless in six games during November, Cole Caufield, number 22 of the Canadiens, won the Molson Cup for the team.

"Cole Caufield is the winner of the Molson Cup for the month of November.

Caufield was named first star twice (November 9 at Detroit and November 24 at San Jose) and second star once (November 29 at Columbus). In 14 games in November, the left winger scored three goals and added six assists, leading the team with 47 shots." - Montreal Canadiens

This is quite surprising, especially considering that his teammate Nick Suzuki scored more points than him during the same period.

Certainly, there is a strong hope that Cole Caufield will be able to bounce back alongside captain Nick Suzuki and Sean Monahan, especially since he has only scored seven goals in 24 games since the start of the regular season.
