Saying it's a disastrous season in Edmonton is an understatement. After 18 games this season, the Oilers have a dismal record of 5-12-1, placing them 30th in the National Hockey League.
Things are going so badly for the Oilers that the team's general manager, Ken Holland, would be open to almost anything in the trade market.
In fact, as reported by TSN journalist Ryan Rishaug, only Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl would be untouchable in the organization.
This means that names such as Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Evander Kane, Darnell Nurse, Mattias Ekholm, Evan Bouchard, and several others, would be available on the trade market.
